Oops pushed publish to soon

Last Friday we went to Andrew's first piano recital. He was amazing!! Andrew started playing the second week in Sept and has really caught on. His piano teacher Julie Anderson (the lady in the picture) has been very impressed with his quick learning of the piano. Who knows we may have Mozart on our hands:)

16 days and counting!

Who said December isn't a crazy month should be sent to the funny farm.

Well, lets see... Last Sunday I found out the Christmas party was going to be a flop if someone didn't take charge.. So, I felt Linda Homer and I were those people. In a short 5 day's we transformed the gym into Bethlehem, bought and presented kosher foods, rounded up Dune Back music, put together a pageant and had a very successful "simple" well, simple for our guests. Talk about a crazy week, especially since Joseph was out of town. (I will get the party pic's uploaded this week also)

On Friday we did get to enjoy Andrew's first piano recital. Where he played Jolly old St Nick, Old McDonald, and Jingle Bells. He did an awesome job!! I will get those photo's uploaded soon.

This week looks a little calmer!
Monday-Family Pictures
Tuesday- Boys have mothers day out
I have an enrichment activity
Wednesday- PAC Committee meeting (Joseph)
Piano Lessons
Tithing Settlement
Book Club
Thursday- Kids have Mothers day out
I have an open house for my sign business
Friday- We watch Tyler Holmes while Chad and Janna fly home for a baby blessing
In the evening we are headed out to Bourne for a cowboy Christmas
Saturday- Isaac has his 5th birthday party (Spider man Training Camp) Dad is in charge this year.

Yeah, I think Christmas is coming to quickly with everything else that is going on. But I am excited for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!!

How To Know If Your Son Is Tired

So... it was Isaac and I by ourselves at church today. Windy, after running a highly successful ward Christmas party the night before, only had one nerve left... and Andrew decided to jump up and down on it. Aaron was a sickly little guy. Andrew needed to sleep (he likes to wake up at 5:00 a.m. every morning whether he's had enough sleep or not!). Windy needed Calgon to take her away. As a result, when it was time to depart for church, I surveyed the Price home and found: Aaron asleep, Andrew asleep (I immediately alerted the media and Ripley's), and Windy comatose (do people in comas usually snore loudly?). Anyway, I thought it was best to "let sleeping giants lie" if I may humbly mix metaphors.

I thought Isaac was doing just fine. He was upbeat about going to church, just daddy and he... hee-hee! Right after we took the sacrament, Isaac's head fell into my lap, and he was GONE. I mean, waking the dead would have been an easier task. "No biggie," I thought... I'll just sit here and listen to the speakers. Well, the speakers were wonderful, and Isaac didn't move a muscle. I figured he needed the rest. For those who are not aware, however, of all my boys, Isaac has some sort of nuclear reactor inside his little body. That kid could be hot in swimming attire at the north pole! As a result, if his body is in contact with anything or anyone for any length of time, he begins sweating profusely. Despite the fact I felt sunburned on my lap at this point, I sallied forth with the knowledge it was doing my son good to get a little snooze in.

However, during the closing hymn, he still wasn't moving. After the closing prayer (when everyone was milling around and gabbing) Isaac remained, unmoving, on my lap. I decided to gently lift his head, slide out from underneath him, and rest him back on the pew. As I did so, he didn't so much as close his mouth. This action also revealed that he had drooled and sweated two nice Mickey Mouse ears on my suit pants. Ahhhhh... my suits hadn't faced this abuse since they were just babies (my kids... not my pants)! Anyways, since he hadn't moved, I now began to worry just a smidgen. I checked for a pulse (yes... I have become my mother). Good pulse. Chest rising and falling. No other discernable movement. I tried shaking him and calling his name. All he did was close his mouth and swallow the remaining drool. Primary even had their opening exercises in the chapel and left for sharing time/classes without causing him to awaken. I checked back periodically to see how he was doing. Finally, about an hour after sacrament meeting (the Spanish branch was about to start), Isaac sat straight up, looked at me, looked at everyone else, and said, "Where did everyone go, daddy?" I told him he had been sleeping. "Where's all the kids?" (meaning: where is primary opening exercises?) I told him he slept through that too. He looked back at me and with all seriousness said, "I must have really needed my sleep, daddy."

Yep... he sure must've...

P.S. The was random... much like any of my future posts will be. Sorry...

P.P.S. I spoke with my sister, Sue, this evening (Sue Lee, that is...), and she shared the link to their family's blog: FredShorts.com! We've added the link on our main page too. Rachel recently added pics of her clan in the freshly fallen snow in Provo. I'm so jealous! I MISS THE SNOW! The whole family looks amazing!

BTW, I was in D.C. last week, and it snowed while I was there. If I can get my friend to forward me the goofy pictures of me playing in two inches of snow in northern Virginia, I'll share it here. Sorry... more randomness...

Waiting for Christmas!

I am just so excited for Christmas this year! It has been an exciting and busy time!! The boys are all doing well and can't wait for the Jolly ol'man to make his appearance here. We are busy with church callings I am on the activities committee and so busy trying to get the Christmas Party underway. I am also putting on Andrew's school Christmas party. Joseph is busy with his job trying to get the San Antonio office open and working. He is also working with the Cub scouts, which is a good thing since Andrew starts in Feb. I can't believe that Andrew is turning 8 this year! he will be getting baptized and he also gets to start cubs. Wow! how life flies by. Andrew is doing awesome in school!! he is enjoying the 2ND grade and is getting excellent grades in his class and in GT. He is busy playing on the computer or building Lego's (some things never change). Isaac is learning to read, I can't believe he starts kindergarten next year!! He loves his brothers and is doing great in mothers day out. Aaron is our little nut!! never a dull moment with him around! I hope all of you are having a wonderful Christmas season!! Merry Christmas

Fall Festival

Fall Festival 2007
We had Woody (or Cowboy as Aaron calls it)
The Black Spiderman
Optimus Prime

Cozumel

The last port was Cozumel... We rented a beach buggy and drove it across the island.. There we went snorkeling and then spent the rest of the day shopping.. I just cant explain how relaxing and wonderful it was to reconnect with my best friend and husband !!

Montego Bayu

Another port was Montego Bay Jamaca... This was probably my favorite!! we took a horse back ride through the countryside and then got to ride in the ocean with horses..
This was a band that was playing just outside of the ship we thought we should join in..
What do you think about my new look? should I get dreads?

Grand Cayman

Joseph and I went on a cruise at the end of October.. What a wonderful treat!! one of our ports of call was the Cayman Islands. We took a tour bus out to a 40ft catamaran (I am sure that is spelled wrong) and sailed out to a sandbar in the middle of the ocean. There we got to feed and swim with the stingrays. It was AWESOME! They felt like mushrooms :) Joseph fed them, but I was too chicken. It was a little scary for me at first, but after a little bit it was such a neat experience.

Just off the island were some piriate ships!! At least we like to pretend they were real :)
